As it’s not too far from me I tend to visit Bath at least a few times a year, but I love discovering new places and new things to do while I’m there. This post from Lucy @ On The Luce was great for anyone wanting to plan a visit to the gorgeous city that is Bath. Even I managed to find a few new things to try on my next visit 🙂 Aside from her planning advice, she has also shared some beautiful pictures that show off Bath at it’s very best!
Everyone who knows me will tell you that I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so I loved Kristyn @ Chitts & Giggles post about what rereading Harry Potter taught her. I honestly believe that there are many life lessons for not just kids but us grown ups too within the pages of J.K.Rowling’s great series, and I am glad that Kristyn agrees. Check her post out to see if you agree.
Let’s be fair ladies reading this there are a fair few things about us as the fairer sex that the guys out there just don’t get, I claim we are not that complicated but men seem to disagree. Hannah @ Hannah Gale shared a post this week called Guys, here’s 25 things women want you to know! It was hilarious and covered everything from excessive photo taking, to time of the month moodiness and everything in between and had me genuinely laughing out loud! Well worth a read for both the ladies and gents among my readership!
It’s a hard life being a woman sometimes and we could probably all do with a bit of help every now and again to make ourselves a little easier. Lucky for us the ladies at The High Cast Tea are on hand to share a few of their life hacks to save you a bit of time here and there whether it’s how to stop losing those annoying little hair grips or how best to keep wine cool (ice cubes is definitely not the answer here).
Miriam @ Farm Girl Miriam has some awesomely inspirational posts and I loved one from her this week called Just Do You! It really made me think about my current place in life, why I had spent so long trying to be something I wasn’t, how I was moving forward now I finally felt a little bit more comfortable about who I was. and why I gave too many chances to toxic former friends. She gives some great advice on how to just be the you that you want to be.
It was a little creepy to read this post from Rosie @ Eat Read Glam this week as it could very much have been me writing her words. She talks about how it’s difficult to come to terms with thinking your life revolves around one thing and then suddenly it doesn’t. How to cope with realising that sometimes you don’t want something as much as you thought you did.
Rachel @ ParaJunkee has spoken about how to handle to bad reviews and how to inform the author, for me this is something I was really interested in. I haven’t yet had to write too bad a review but I know that when that time comes, especially as I am now using NetGalley. I am going to have a book I don’t enjoy and telling the author or publisher is something I am really dreading, but Rachel came up with some really interesting points and advice on how to handle this sticky and slightly scary situation.
